FROM OBJECT TO DIGITAL FORM
Each CWL piece begins as a material object shaped by hand, texture and physical presence.
Between Worlds explores what happens when these objects are translated into three dimensional and virtual space, allowing their forms and characters to evolve beyond the limits of the physical world.
3D SCANNING & DIGITAL TRANSLATION
Physical CWL objects are captured and reconstructed in three dimensions, creating digital forms that retain the character, texture and complexity of the original piece.
These digital objects can then be explored, transformed and adapted for virtual environments, moving image, interactive experiences and new forms of character design.
The process is not about replacing the physical object, but extending its existence into another medium.
