In the oldest myths, Argos had a hundred eyes and never slept. Not because he was afraid of the dark. Because he loved what the dark revealed.
Bold concentric evil-eye motifs cover every surface cobalt, turquoise, white each one watching. Crystal rhinestones catch the stage light at the brow and cheeks. A white feather boa cascades 60 cm from crown to shoulder, dissolving into the smoke like a vision you can't quite hold.
The music starts. Every eye opens wider.
