She did not fall into the underworld. She walked in and decided to stay.
Everyone told the story wrong. Persephone was never taken. She was the only one brave enough to go.
A steel wire cage forms the crown open, architectural, unapologetic. Gold studs line the crest like a sovereignty that never asked permission. Black lace wraps the frame in shadows that chose her willingly. An amethyst crystal chain cascades 35 cm down the center the one thread connecting two worlds.
She holds it above her head, not to wear it. To decide.
Every time, she chooses the dark.
